Cache Valley Family Photographer | Green Family Reunion

I headed to Bear Lake after work on a Monday evening and met up with this spectacular family at a Cabin in Bear Lake. I had so much fun taking their pictures. They were a hoot! They traveled from states including Texas, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Wyoming, and Utah to be at their Family Reunion. They were missing a few people but the majority of their family was there. I'm so happy I was able to capture their special memories.

I had to included this one :)

Andrews Texas Photographer | Callen Family

I'm on vacation in Andrews Texas visiting my sister. While I'm here I'm doing a few newborn and family sessions as well. This cute family is friends with my sister. We met at Lakeside Park which is a small lake, walkway and playground park in Andrews. It's actually perfect and a super fun place to hang out. Her 3 kids were awesome and adorable. The two older ones were on the go and playing the entire time. Her newest little one is perfect. I had so much fun with this family. I hurried and got their session edited while I'm here and handed it off to her tonight!

Thanks Callen Family!

Throw Back Thursday, Ragnar Relay

11:28 AM Posted by Stacey , , No comments
Remember that post I just did last week on one of the hardest things I've done in my life - Hiking to Havasupi? Well this Throw back Thursday post is on the Wasatch Back Ragnar Relay. This weekend is also the current Wasatch Back Ragnar so if you are running, best of luck and hydrate up!

I am proud to say I ran the Wasatch Back Ragnar Relay for 3 years in a row. It wasn't easy and I'm NOT a runner.. but I had a lot of fun. "You want me to pay to run and run for fun? Huh?"

Running has never been in my forte. I am short, have short legs and have never enjoyed running for recreation or running because I was told to. It's just not a hobby of mine. How I got roped into doing Ragnar, let alone 3 times, is beyond me. I ran in 2010, 2011 and 2012 with my work team. Our name was "If we weren't all crazy we would go insane" which is from a Jimmy Buffet song. Don't get me wrong, I had FUN, and I'm super glad I did it but it took a lot out of me.

I remember my first Ragnar Relay. The last 4.2 mile leg was seriously the hardest time of my life to that point. It was about 80 degrees outside, I was sunburned, had already ran 8 miles, I was dehydrated, my muscles were starting to cramp up and I was working on a about 2 hours a sleep. How I made it again is unknown, but I did. And it FELT GREAT! That feeling is what got me through the next two years.

So if you haven't ran, I challenge you to consider it! It's a worthy event and will challenge you personally.
