There are so many things I loved about this session. This little newborn girl was a doll.

Her Hair. Sleepiness. Her headbands. Bracelet. Oh I could go on and on. She was super easy to pose and I think we got more poses in than most newborn sessions. I know her mom from my job at Hycomp. She works at Nexeo and I've had the privilege of working with her when I was over our HR department. It's such a small world out there and I was seriously thankful she asked me to take Brooklyn's newborns. Congrats you guys, she is a doll.

She slept super good for us and only had to be fed a few short times. Her hair is to die for. ADORABLE.

Oh Dear! This little lady is so adorable! She and her big brother who is two did AMAZING for their photo session this week! Typically sibling photos can be tricky to get because usually one or the other isn't cooperating but not these two. He was fabulous, even his "Baseball Smile" was seriously awesome. And her, wow. She was one of the easiest newborns and she slept nearly the entire time. I've known their mom for many years so when she asked me to do their session I was ecstatic! Thanks Chelsy. Your kids are wonderful and seriously darling.

I absolutely love this first picture of little T. Look at that smile! Oh goodness. This little baby was so fun to have in the studio. He's a Cardinals Fan as well as from a Hunting family. I love the use of personal props and I'm all for bringing families hobbies, likes, etc into their photos.

Lake Louise | Throw Back Thursday

Just looking back at these photos makes me miss Canada and this place so much. Today's Throw Back Thursday post is of one of the most gorgeous lakes and places I've been to: Lake Louise, Canada. We were able to visit and camp here one night while on our trip to Ketchikan Alaska. The lake was beautiful and cold in May. It was also very busy with tourists. There is a Hotel right on the lake that Andy and I are planning on going back to some day. It is expensive though, about $550 a night. The clouds were in pretty low when I took these photos so you can't see the Victorian Glacier in the background too well but it's there, and its slowly melting.

This place is just spectacular and serene. I highly recommend this place to anyone!

Goldsberry Maternity | Cache Valley Photographer

This lady is gorgeous and pregnant. Wow. We had originally scheduled this session for Bear Lake but after canceling once because of the rain the second day also was windy/rainy in Bear Lake so we decided to stay in the valley. It was still pretty windy so I'm surprised we got as many good photos as we did. Their little boy is seriously awesome. He did absolutely fantastic during this session and even gave us some huge grins! Watch for their birth story and newborns next month!
