Carter 1st Year | Cache Valley Childrens Photographer

This little guy is a ball of joy! It has been so much fun watching him grow from newborn, throughout his 3, 6, 9, and now 1 year sessions! For his one-year session we did something very special, and the pictures turned out great! I love the session theme!!!.... Airplanes! We’ve incorporated planes into all five of his sessions. It is so fun to watch him grow, and the props make the comparisons so cool. He has developed quite the personality and Stacey has just loved working with him!

For this specific shoot we ventured out to the Logan airport. Carter’s dad works and flies planes there, so we had an in! I mean what better prop can you have than actual planes?!?! It was so cool!

We got some great shots in front of a long row of planes, as well as some in front of this beautiful maroon and white plane. There was the perfect banner for the occasion, that fit perfectly hanging on the plane…“Time Flies” Which it really does! This past year has just flown by taking Carter’s pictures. I know with my own little one that it seems like just yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital and now I’m chasing him around the house! I can’t even imagine him turning one! I can imagine that’s how Carter’s mom felt watching this past year just fly by.

In addition to the other shots we got some cute ones with Carter in the cab of the plane. This is every little boys dream! He was in heaven! So Cute!! We were able to get some great pictures of Carter with his dad checkin out the plane. You can tell that his dad just loves this little guy, and he’s excited to get to share this part of his life with him. Some of my favorite pictures were with the same plane that we have used in all of his previous sessions sitting next to the real planes.

I believe Carter’s favorite part of the whole thing was getting to dig into his cake! The day wouldn’t have been complete without the classic cake smash!! Carter’s mom made the cutest cake with a little red toy airplane to go on top. He wasn’t afraid to dig right in! By the time we were through he had cake from head to toe!! So typical of a little guy, what fun!

We have really enjoyed getting to work with this little guy and his family over the past year. We’re looking forward to continuing watching him grow and develop more of that cute personality! Thanks Goodin family!
