Buttars Christmas Mini | Cache Valley Family Photographer

Have I ever said how much I LOVE pictures in the snow? If not, let me tell you. Pictures in the snow are some of my all time favorite! The white crisp snow on the trees, the freezing but blanket covered ground and the way people POP in all the white just makes my heart sing happy thoughts! These guys won a Christmas Mini Session I gave away at the Eagles Bingo night last month! When I suggested this pine tree location Amber was all for it. I love when Clients let me lead. Sometimes its fun to see thier new locations or get their ideas and other times I just love that I get to take control!

We met up in the same location I did my family photos (blog post not up yet, ugh!) But these guys look so different because there is snow! They totally made my day with their outfits and color choice! The pink, grey and black are to die for! Plus, their beanies... eeek. I love it!

Their session was literally 10 minutes or less! And we got just as many amazing photos as I wanted. I love it when clients are easy to pose like these guys and are so real. Erika was awesome and totally tried my idea with the snow. Glitter would have worked better but the snow worked for at least one shot! Snow is heavier than it looks so blowing it out of your hands in small little pieces is tricky. She nailed it though!

And let's talk about their dogs. SOOO well behaved! My dogs are my kids so I'm always down when I get to photograph other peoples dogs. And they were epic.

Maughan Christmas Mini | Logan Utah Photographer

4 Boys, Oh my goodness! These 4 just happen to be my next door neightbors. We sure love living in our neighborhood and the Maughan's make it so much better! Their parents are some pretty amazing people and just the nicest! These boys are full of personality, talent and love for life. We love watching them grow up and play outside! We only have one pretty girly girl so when the boys come over it's always loads of fun!

Having them in the studio was seriously a blast! Mom and dad helped get them to smile and make some pretty fun faces. Little H was not too sure and we didn't get any super big smiles from him but the rest of them rocked it. All smiles and they didn't complain once, at least not to me.

Mendoza Christmas Mini | Logan Utah Childrens Photographer

These three are seriously a bundle of joy! We've been capturing their photos this year and last with our Themed Mini Package. We love this package. We get to see cute kids like these gals for a few major holidays (Valentine's Easter, Summer, Halloween and Christmas!)

Mom nailed their cute outfits. I love the pink! It goes so well with this years backdrop! The colorful trees are a fun, new way to bring in the holiday theme. So glad some of our clients embraced the new different backdrop! It's not quite the same as a traditional Christmas set up with Red and Green but I actually LOVE the new colors!

These three were all smiles, well mostly. Little sis was not quite sure but we did manage to get a few grins from her. The older two are always right on point! I remember the first time we did photos and they weren't too sure about me but after the initial ice breaker they've been perfect little models for me every time! Smile after smile after smile. I love these three!

Thanks Mendoza Family! It's been a wonderful year watching you grow!

Jaxxie 6 Month | Logan Utah Childrens Photographer

Another Christmas shoot for the win! This litte girl lights up my day. Looking through her session you can't help but smile. What a sweetheart!!

We started working with Jaxxie as a newborn, and here we are already at 6 months. I can't believe how fast it has gone. First year sessions are the best becaue now not only did we get to see her at newborns, but at 3, 6, and all to soon 9 months, and then a year as well! This session was especially fun, because she was a complete bundle of joy! Last time we struggled to get a smile, and this time she was full of them.

I love how all the individual pieces fit together so nicely. From the stockings, to the sled. The bulbs, to the little red blanket, and background. Perfection. But the best part of it all was obviously Little Miss Jaxxie. What a doll! I have to throw in their that those jammies are my absolute favorite! I definitely need to get my hands on some for my little one. Then there were her pictures with the giraffe. These are special becase we have taken pictures with her little giraffe since she was a newborn. They are great to give us a comparison on how much she is growing!

Jaxxie's mommy has SOOOO many headbands! Stacey believes she has found her new best friend. Both are quite obsessed with them, but can you blame them?! ADORABLE!
Stacey has loved getting to know this family. She considers her mom a great friend. We are so thankful to get to see Jaxxie grow up as we go through this first year. Can't wait until 9 months! It'll be here before we know it!

This is one good lookin family! These guys are good friends of Stacey and Andy, so it was fun for her to capture their family pictures this year. They live in Herriman, Utah so coming clear to Cache Valley for pictures was extra special. Andy and Stacey loved meeting their kids and totally fell in love with them. Sheldon, Ali, Ethan, and Kait are awesome kiddos, with amazing parents! So with all these things today were set up to have a fantastic shoot.

The weather was a bit chilly but that didn't stop us from getting some great pictures. I LOVE the way they turned out. Their outfits from head to toe, every little detail, was just on point! I wouldn't mind having mom pick out my wardrobe!! The girls are just stunning, and those boys - super handsome. Grey and Maroon went nicely with the partial snow, and the vintage wood. All the shots along the railroad tracks were super fun as well. We got some nice photos of the kids, mom and dad, and various mixes of the 6.

Afterwards they headed over to the house and just spent some time hanging out! Ryan is helping Stacey with her new website (Be excited for that!), and Kelsey is always fun to talk to about shopping and lipsense. We wish they were closer, so we could see them more often. Thanks so much to the Hoskins for letting us spend the day with you, and capture your beautiful family! Can't wait until next time!!
