Hislop Family | Logan Utah Family Photographer

The Hislop family session was a little chilly. Look at that snow! This was right after a small storm before Thanksgiving and it was a little chilly. However, that didn't stop us. And these guys were so great! All smiles, even the guys!

I have loved working with this family over the last year or so. From senior pictures to the photo booth rental and now family pictures, it's ways amazing to have repeat customers. It makes me truely thankful for my job as a photographer. It's even better to have awesome clients who are totally down to earth and nice! Just like these guys. Plus, they were willing to go out on a rock in the middle of a stream, in the cold to get the perfect photos. That's what I call awesome :)

This family was so fun! The kids did great and I can't help but grin as I look at their sweet smiles. We're so glad that we finally got to do their session. We had to reschedule twice due to the flu, so when the day finally arrived and no one was sick we were thrilled!! The weather was perfect and after just 30 minutes we had some AMAZING shots.

Things started off at First dam where we then drove to Spring Hollow. I'm amazed at how beautiful the foliage was even this late in the season. The water, trees, leaves... everthing just went together for the perfect look. This is the cutest family. You can just see how much they love each other. And those kids! They seriously have sparkles in their eyes. I'm just loving every single picture of them all.

I have to say again that I am so happy that we finally were able to get together with this sweet family. They make my heart happy! Fall has my heart yet again with this session. Thanks Lamoreaux family for a great evening!

I loved this session in Layton, Utah. I know this awesome family because my sister is in this picture! She has been one of my biggest supporters over the years and I can't thank her or her family enough! I photographed her and John's wedding a couple of years ago and multiple family sessions for them, plus preschool pictures! Family support means so much more to me than you can even imagine!

We scheduled family pictures for her mom's family months ago (or maybe a month ago, it seems like a long time!). Of course when the day finally came rain was in the forecast. Always our luck! Jamee and I were texting the night before and it looked like the rain would let up just as we were starting to meet up for their session. Sunday afternoon came and I crossed my fingers and headed to Layton. It was raining pretty hard on the way down. But just as I got to Hillfield it let up and was beautiful out! We met at this beautiful Layton Park and I'm totally digging the colors!

Jamee's sister and Brother are just as awesome as she is. They are always so nice and down to earth. I especially love their colors for this fall family session. Grey, Black and Maroon look great together and this family totally rocked it. Mom brought some umbrellas to use in case it was raining, but we were lucky it was barely dripping if at all. Everyone was awesome, smiled and we even laughed a little or a lot.
