Logan Utah Photographer | Kira Valentine Mini

One of my favorite girls is in these photos! Kira is growing up so fast and growing into a sweet girl. She's so helpful for us, super smart and learns so fast. She has quite the girly personality and loves loves loves her dad. She loves to be all girl including make up, dresses, princesses, pink, purple and more. She isn't always keen on doing pictures but when I talk her into them we sometimes struggle to capture a REAL smile. She likes to giggle and full out laugh in front of the camera instead of smile. The struggle is real, but I think we managed to get some great shots of her during her valentine's mini session this weekend.

Oh boys! They sure will be boys... but when Valentine's day comes around they can be pretty sweet. Just like these two handsome ones. They rocked their valentine mini session. Cute smiles and were perfect for us!

Utah Photographer | 9 months Old

This lovely little lady just hit 9 months old. She is always happy, except for pictures. She isn't too sure about the flash or shutter BUT we did manage to capture this cute smile at least! She has gotten so big since her newborn photos. I LOVE watching little ones grow each time I see them and see how they start to develop into their personalities. So much fun to tag along as an outsider and capture specialy moments for my clients and their families. She's adorable!

Valentine Mini's are some of my favorite to do! I love LOVE. And seeing these cute kids come in pinks and reds and smile for us is perfection. Miss Lily didn't disappoint either. She smiled more today than she did for all of her mini's from last year! Yay, total success!

Logan Utah Photographer | Collin Valentine Mini

Themed mini sessions have quickly become one of my favorite sessions. Like EVER. Coming up with the layout/set up is sometimes a challenge BUT once that's done it's easy breezing from there. I always pick a model to use so I can advertise the set up and show clients what it looks like. This little stud was the perfect model and it was last minute and close to bed time. He wasn't too sure about a real smile so we tried to get some good laughs out of him. Oh boy did we capture some fun looks! Check out photo # 3... I think it's my FAVORITE! Totally made my day and I laughed super hard.

So a little about this model for you...
He's a total heart breaker at the age of 4. He loves Darth Vader, Superheros, his Aunt Stacey, and playing with his cousins. It gets his photo taken more than most kids so he's a pretty good sport for me when I ask him to. The day we did his photos I had just gotten home from a 6 hour drive and apparently he had been asking when I was going to arrive most of the day (maybe just a few hours). He is one of my best buddies, not to mention Andy's buddy as well. We sure love all of our nieces and nephews!

Utah Photographer | Jethro 9 Months

This little guy is a serious stud! We met up for his 9 Month Photos and he is growing so fast! He sure has a cute personality! And his hair! Oh my goodness, I love. He's had a full head of hair right from the start. His mom says they've cut his hair twice already. That's pretty rare for a little guy as young as him. I'm jealous, that's for sure. He has a beautiful little smile with some teeth coming in. Also, he is learning to stand and balance on his feet! Look at how big he's getting! 

Mom wanted to incorporate a little bit of a valentine's theme into his photos since he turned 9 months just before valentine's day. I pulled out my set up from last years valentine's mini's and they worked perfectly. I love his shirt, the blue one! He looks so handsome and grown up in that! Mom and Dad also brought a little cowboy outfit and hat for him which was perfect. He wasn't too sure about the hat so we had to work quick but I think we got a few great shots of it. 

This session was funny because he was blinking in ANTICIPATION of the flash. It was super funny. Mom, Dad and I all got a good laugh in. But he literally was blinking the entire session which he has never done! We did manage to keep his eyes open for some great shots though. Plus, look at that cute scrunchy face? Adorable right!
