The Tuesday Ten | Gifts for Grads!

9:58 AM Posted by Stacey , No comments
It's spring time and almost May, which means it's nearly graduation time for both College and High School! Today's Tuesday Ten is some Gift ideas for Graduates!

1. Card. Most graduates will appreciate just the thought of a card. A card can say a lot, even if it's not accompanied by money or a gift. I love getting cards, and appreciate even just the simple aspect they bring from someone. Plus get a fun, neat card like this one from SheShe Design and it's even better! $3.50 for a 5x7 card on her Etsy Shoppe!

2. Diploma Frame. I loved my diploma frame. It's hanging in my office at work with my tassel. I appreciate that my mom and dad got that for me. It's a great way to show off my degree instead of putting it in a filing cabinet somewhere never to be seen. I worked hard for that thing, I want to show it off.

The Diploma Frame I received was purchased from here.
3. Money. We all know that after high school it's time to join the real world. And after college graduation and paying for school you are almost always low on cash... so give money! Everyone loves money but graduates always have things they need or they are jumping into a new chapter with possibly no job, etc and can use money. But, giving a $20 bill isn't the coolest gift so, Be creative! Look on Pinterest for some neat ideas on how to give money. I found TONS of ideas! Here are just a few I liked. And most are Super easy!

4. Gift Cards! So this one is a little like Money but some people don't like giving Money, they'd prefer to give gift cards. Find a gift card or Visa Card that would fit your grad perfectly and then be creative to turn it into an awesome gift! I did a Pinterest search and came up with some ideas...

5. Origami Owl. Okay, So I'm pretty partial to Origami Owl BUT they have some fun graduation charms and I love the look you can custom create for your graduate! If you aren't a fan of Origami Owl any necklace or jewelry that indicates graduation is a fun gift.  If you want to create a living locket, bracelet, or just update your current charms contact me! You'll get 20% off just for mentioning this post!

6. School Paraphernalia. I don't know about High School graduates but I know for College I loved getting a Utah State University sweatshirt and shot glass. (I'm a collector). Give your graduate a piece of clothing or item they can remember their hard work at school and support as an Alumni.

7. Something CREATIVE! These Graduation Hat Toppers are awesome. I found them on http://www.tipjunkie.com/post/homemade-gift/. And even better... they are fairly cheap. But they would be a fun and great gift for a graduate. If its a college graduate and they drink you can also do these using beer.

10. A Party! Most graduates have worked their butt off in class, doing assignments, working to pay for school and life SO give them a party. Throw them a celebration and invite friends. Just showing appreciation can mean so much.
