Oh my goodness! I am love love loving this session. I always love doing sibling newborn pictures, but they are often hard. Either baby doesn't cooperate or the older sibling has a hard time sitting still, holding baby, etc. It's usually the hardest part of the newborn session. However, this little duo was totally different. They ROCKED IT! Collin, who is 5, was an amazing big brother. He held her, laid by her, smiled, closed his eyes, soothed, and even wanted to help take pictures of baby sister. We got SO SO many sibling shots of these two I'm in awe. That RARELY if ever happens. And on top of that, we got an amazing amount of darling photos of just her too. Seriously lucky for us!
We also got to use this amazing Moon Prop! Our dad made this specifically for Baby Larson. (These kiddos are my niece/nephew). It's been done for months, however, we didn't want to use it until this newborn session. Our dad is a pretty amazing guy! You ask him to make something and his creativity starts flowing and he comes up with some amazing things. Like this Moon. He's so handy and helps me out so much on props. This is the 4th prop he's made for me, others include an Airplane, Train, and a Curved Chair. His work is amazing! Thanks so much Dad, your wonderful and we appreciate it so much!
